How to Use Invoice Scan

Invoice Scan Overview
  The Invoice Scan feature in Momentum AI allows you to upload invoices (PDF or image) and automatically extract structured data. This data can then be used to create endorsements or update billing information in Momentum AMS, reducing manual entry and ensuring accuracy.

Step 1: Access the Invoice Scan

  1. Log in to Momentum AMS.

  2. From the left navigation, click Momentum AMP.

  3. Select Momentum AI (opens in a new tab).

  4. In the AI Center, click AI Scans.

  5. Choose Invoice Scan.

Step 2: Upload the Invoice File

  • Upload the invoice as a PDF or image file (JPEG/PNG).

  • Momentum AI will extract key details from the invoice such as:

    • Policy Number

    • Insured Name

    • Effective Date

    • Endorsement or Transaction Details

    • Amounts (Premium, Taxes, Fees)

Step 3: Review Extracted Data

  • Review the extracted details carefully.

  • Correct any errors before processing further.

Step 4: Create Endorsements in AMS

  • After reviewing, Momentum AI will guide you to create an endorsement in Momentum AMS using the extracted data.

  • Select the applicable policy.

  • Confirm the details and save the endorsement.


Best Practices for Invoice Scan
  • Always upload a clear, legible PDF or image for best extraction results.
  • Double-check extracted amounts and policy numbers before creating endorsements.
  • Keep a copy of the original invoice in the insured’s Documents tab for audit purposes.
   • Use Invoice Scan for efficiency, but confirm that endorsements align with carrier documentation.
