How to Use the Driving License Scan

Driving License Scan Overview
The Driving License Scan feature in Momentum AI allows you to upload a driver’s license (PDF or image) and extract key details automatically. This reduces manual entry and helps you add drivers quickly and accurately into Momentum AMS.

Step 1: Access the Driving License Scan

Log in to Momentum AMS.
From the left navigation, click Momentum AMP.
Select Momentum AI (opens in a new tab).
In the AI Center, click AI Scans.
Choose Driving License Scan.
The system will prompt asking you to upload PDF or JPEG of license

Step 2: Upload the License File

Upload the driver’s license as a PDF or image file (JPEG/PNG).
Once uploaded, Momentum AI will extract the following details automatically:
- Driver’s Full Name
- Date of Birth
- License Number
- License State

Step 3: Review the Extracted Data

The AI will present the extracted details for review.
Make sure the data matches what is on the license.
Correct any errors before continuing.

Step 4: Add the Driver to Momentum AMS

After confirming, the AI will guide you through adding the driver to the insured’s profile in AMS.
Select the insured or policy where this driver should be attached.
Save the driver record.

Best Practices for Driving License Scan
  • Always upload a clear PDF or high-resolution image for best results.
  • Double-check the extracted data — AI may occasionally misread characters like “0” and “O”.
  • Use the extracted fields to save time, but confirm compliance rules before saving to the insured’s profile.
   • Retain the original license copy in the insured’s Documents tab for audit purposes.
