How to Use Momentum ToolBox to Streamline Your Insurance Workflow

Overview

Momentum ToolBox is a suite of AI-powered utilities inside Momentum AMS that read existing PDF documents, extract key data, and in some cases enrich records with additional information from trusted data sources. Each tool works independently — you simply pick the one you need, upload or select your data, and let the AI do the heavy lifting.

Available ToolBox Options

Certificate of Insurance Scan

Purpose: Reads COI PDFs to extract certificate holder names, addresses, and coverage details.
How to Use: Upload your COI PDF into the tool, review the extracted information, and download it as a CSV file. You can then bulk import this data into Momentum AMS to update certificate holders automatically.

Acord and Declaration Pages Scan

Purpose: Reads ACORD forms or policy declaration pages to pull insured, coverage, and policy details into structured data.
How to Use: Upload the document, let the AI read the fields, review the extracted data for accuracy, and save directly into Momentum AMS to update client and policy records.

PremFi (PFA) Scan

Purpose: Extracts insured and policy details from Premium Finance Agreement PDFs.
How to Use: Upload the PFA file, review extracted policy and insured data, and update records in Momentum AMS without manual retyping.

Policy Comparison

Purpose: Compares coverage, limits, and details across multiple policies or quotes.
How to Use: Upload multiple dec pages or quote letters, and the AI will create a side-by-side comparison. You can save it in Momentum AMS or download it for client discussions.

Policy/Quote Analyzer and Summary

Purpose: Summarizes a single policy or quote into a clear, structured overview.
How to Use: Upload the policy dec page or quote letter. The AI will highlight key coverages, limits, and dates so you can quickly review or share with clients.

Commission Scan

Purpose: Reads commission statement PDFs and converts them into CSV format for reconciliation.
How to Use: Upload the statement, review the extracted transactions, and download the CSV for direct import into Momentum AMS commission reports.

Classification Codes (NAICS)

Purpose: Enriches client records by adding NAICS industry classification codes.
How to Use: Enter insured details or upload a list. The tool will match each client to the correct NAICS code and update their record in Momentum AMS.

Vehicle Prefill

Purpose: Enriches vehicle records with detailed specifications from VIN data.
How to Use: Enter VIN numbers or basic vehicle info, and the tool will prefill year, make, model, and other details directly into the insured’s record.

RabbitSign E-Signature

Purpose: Sends documents for secure electronic signature directly from Momentum AMS.
How to Use: Upload your PDF, enter recipient details, define signature fields, and send. You can track signing status in real time.

Carrier Rate Service Rating

Purpose: Provides service quality ratings for insurance carriers.
How to Use: Search by carrier name to view ratings and compare options before quoting or binding coverage.

Rate Risk Appetite Tool

Purpose: Checks carrier appetite for certain risks.
How to Use: Enter the NAICS code, policy type, and state to instantly see which carriers are most likely to write the risk.

MVR

Purpose: Pulls 5-year driver violation history for underwriting.
How to Use: Will be available once integration is complete — you’ll enter driver info to instantly retrieve motor vehicle record data.

Home Owners Data (Coming Soon)

Purpose: Provides property details for underwriting and risk evaluation.
How to Use: Will be available once integration is complete — enter the address to retrieve property characteristics and hazard data.

Accessing Momentum ToolBox

Log into Momentum AMS.
Navigate to Momentum ToolBox from the main menu.
Select the tool you need, follow the on-screen prompts, and review the AI-extracted or enriched data before saving.
