Where to Find Pipelines and How to Access Them
In Momentum AMS, Pipelines are kanban-style visual workflow boards that allow you to track records as they move through stages.

Each stage is represented as a column, and each record appears as a card that you can drag and drop to the next stage as work progresses.

Where to Find Pipelines

  • Pipelines are located in the Left Navigation Menu under the PIPELINES section.

  • This section contains multiple pipeline boards, each dedicated to a specific type of workflow.

  • If you do not see the Pipelines section, your navigation menu may have been customized — check with your system administrator to enable it.

Pipelines You Can Access

From the PIPELINES section in the Left Navigation Menu, you can open:

  • Renewal Overview – Manage upcoming renewals and see which stage they’re in.

  • Service Request Overview – Track service requests from creation to completion.

  • Endorsements Overview – Monitor endorsements in progress.

  • Tasks Overview – View and manage tasks across different categories and stages.

  • Opportunities Overview – Track sales opportunities through your defined sales stages.

How to Access and Use Pipelines

  1. In the Left Navigation Menu, locate the PIPELINES section.

  2. Click the name of the pipeline you want to view (e.g., Renewal Overview).

  3. The pipeline board will display each stage as a column (e.g., New, In Progress, Completed).

  4. Click and hold any record card, then drag and drop it into another stage to update its status.

  5. Click a record card to open its details and perform actions such as adding notes, uploading files, or updating fields.

Best Practices for Using Pipelines

  • Work visually – Use the board view to see progress at a glance.

  • Update in real time – Drag cards as soon as a stage changes to keep the board accurate.

  • Use notes – Add comments or reminders inside the record to capture details.

  • Filter and search – Use the search bar and filters to quickly find specific records.

Example Use Case

A CSR is working in the Renewal Overview pipeline:

  • A policy renewal appears in the Renewal Review stage.

  • After contacting the client, the CSR drags the record to Quoting.

  • Once the policy is renewed, the CSR drags the record into the Bound stage, completing the workflow.
