Understanding the Left Navigation Menu

Understanding the Left Navigation Menu
The Left Navigation Menu is the master list of all sections and tools in Momentum AMS. By default, it displays every available feature — which can feel like a lot at first.

At the very top of the menu is a Configure Menu option that allows you to remove items you don’t use, create your own parent trees, and add customizable external links. (The ability to reorder items is coming soon.)

Using the Configure Menu Option

The Configure Menu link at the top of the Left Navigation Menu allows you to:

  • Remove items you don’t use to simplify your view.

  • Create your own parent tree to group related links under custom headings.

  • Add external links for quick access to outside resources (e.g., rating platforms, carrier portals).

Changes take effect immediately and can be updated anytime.

Best Practice

Start with the default list, then remove items you rarely use and create parent trees for logical grouping. Add any external links you need often. This ensures your menu is cleaner and faster to navigate — and will be even more flexible when the reorder option becomes available.
