How to Use the Report Assistant

Report Assistant Overview
  The Report Assistant in Momentum AI allows you to ask natural language questions about your agency’s data and receive instant, AI-generated reports. Instead of building complex queries or searching through multiple menus, you can type or click on prompts to generate insights on carriers, lines of business, premiums, commissions, and more.

Step 1: Access the Report Assistant

  1. Log in to Momentum AMS.

  2. From the left navigation, click Momentum AMP.

  3. Select Momentum AI (opens in a new tab).

  4. Click Explore AMP's

  5. In the AI Center, click Report Assistant.

Step 2: Choose a Prompt or Ask a Question

  • The Report Assistant provides quick prompts you can click on, such as:

    • What are my top 5 carriers by policy count and premium?

    • How many new policies did we write last month by business type?

    • Can you show a breakdown of active policies by line of business?

    • What percentage of policies are currently active versus inactive?

  • You can also type your own question into the chat window.

Step 3: Generate More Options

  • Click More… to see additional prebuilt prompts.

  • Each click expands your reporting options without needing to build queries manually.

Step 4: Review Results

  • Results may display as:

    • Tables

    • Lists

    • Summaries

  • Use the data to support decision-making, renewals, and agency performance reviews.

Step 5: Export or Record Insights

  • Copy results into Notes or Reports.

  • Attach summaries to agency dashboards or internal training docs.

  • Use Report Assistant alongside Interactive Reports for validation and deeper drill-downs.


Best Practices for Report Assistant
  • Start with prebuilt prompts, then experiment with custom questions.
  • Use Report Assistant for quick insights, and confirm details in **Interactive Reports** if needed.
  • Save frequently asked questions in your Prompt Gallery for reuse.
  • Always review outputs for accuracy before sharing externally — AI may simplify or generalize data.
   • Use the “More…” button to continuously explore new reporting options.
