How to Use the Policy Compare Feature

Policy Compare Overview
The Policy Compare feature in Momentum AI allows you to upload two or more policy documents and instantly generate a comparison. This helps agencies quickly identify changes in coverage, limits, or endorsements between terms — a process that normally requires line-by-line review.

Step 1: Access the Policy Compare Tool

  1. Log in to Momentum AMS.

  2. From the left navigation, click Momentum AMP.

  3. Select Momentum AI (opens in a new tab).

  4. In the AI Center, click AI Scans.

  5. Choose Policy Compare.

Step 2: Upload Policy Documents

  • Upload at least two policy documents (PDF format recommended).

  • These may be:

    • Expiring vs. renewal policies.

    • Competitive carrier quotes.

    • Policies for the same insured across multiple lines.

Step 3: Review the Comparison Output

  • Momentum AI generates a side-by-side summary of key differences, including:

    • Coverage types added, removed, or modified.

    • Limit changes.

    • New or removed endorsements/exclusions.

    • Date or term changes.

Step 4: Use the Results in Your Workflow

  • Save the comparison as a document and attach it to the insured’s Documents tab in AMS.

  • Use the comparison to prepare renewal proposals or to explain differences to clients.

  • Share the summary internally with producers, CSRs, or account managers for quick reference.

Best Practices for Policy Compare
  • Always upload complete policy PDFs to ensure the AI captures all changes.
  • Double-check key coverages (like liability limits, deductibles, and exclusions) before binding.
  • Use Policy Compare alongside **Policy Summarize** to both see high-level summaries and drill into differences.
   • Keep comparison outputs on file for E&O protection and client transparency.
