Getting Started with Momentum AMS: Your 30-Day Onboarding Guide
Welcome to Momentum AMS! Your onboarding experience is designed to help your agency learn the system, complete its initial configuration, and become familiar with the workflows your team will use every day.
During your 30-day trial, you'll follow a self-guided onboarding process using LaunchBay, Momentum University, our Knowledge Base, and hands-on practice within Momentum AMS.
Begin with your LaunchBay account, then complete the appropriate Momentum University training path before working through the agency setup checklist.
This approach helps you understand how Momentum AMS works before configuring your agency and entering information.

Momentum University provides structured training designed to help you understand the system's navigation, features, and workflows.

How to Access Momentum University
Choose the Appropriate Training Path
- Momentum AMS Training Path for CSRs & Non-Admin Users – Designed for team members responsible for client servicing and everyday agency workflows.
- Momentum AMS Training Path for Agency Administrators – Designed for administrators responsible for agency configuration, management, and oversight.
Not every team member needs the same training. Agency administrators should focus on configuration and management responsibilities, while CSRs and other users should concentrate on the workflows relevant to their daily work.
Use the Interactive Momentum AMS User Manual
In addition to Momentum University, the Interactive User Manual provides a reference for learning features and reviewing system procedures.
How to Access the Interactive Momentum AMS User Manual

When learning how to create prospects, insureds, and policies, consider using clearly identified sample records. This allows your team to practice the workflow without confusing training information with actual agency business.
4. Practice Core Momentum AMS Workflows
Once you've completed the foundational training and initial setup activities, begin practicing the workflows your agency will use most frequently.
Recommended areas include:
- Certificates of Insurance: Create and manage certificates and certificate holders.

Watching training is an important first step, but hands-on practice helps reinforce what you've learned. Repeat common workflows using sample records until you're comfortable completing them independently.
5. Take Advantage of Training Webinars
In addition to Momentum University, your agency has access to pre-recorded training webinars that can be viewed on demand.
These sessions provide additional demonstrations of Momentum AMS features and workflows.
Level 1 Training
Level 1 sessions focus on foundational topics, including system navigation, agency setup, and core workflows.
Level 2 Training
Level 2 sessions cover more advanced topics, including billing, reporting, and specialized workflows.
Because the sessions are pre-recorded, you can review topics at your own pace and revisit demonstrations whenever additional guidance is needed.
