Learn how to add and configure agents, set their permissions, adjust access hours and IP restrictions, and manage individual integration credentials and E&O.
If you have not already added your new user license/agent slots, you will first need to modify your subscription plan on your "Subscription & Payments" page to ensure you have the correct amount of user licenses/agents available.
You may adjust your Pricing Plan and Additional Users as needed. The total amount of users and the subscription rate will be reflected based on the projected change. Click on "Modify Subscription" to initiate the update.
This can also be completed while in a trial period.
- Open the Agency Menu in the top right corner and select Agents.
- Next to "Agents", click "Add New".
- Complete the Details section with relevant information.
- Account and Permissions:
User vs Agent: You can add unlimited "agents" in Momentum AMS at no extra cost, allowing you to manage production and commissions. Agents without "user" access cannot log in or make changes. To grant login access, check the "User" box. This will reveal additional settings:

- Time Zone: Select the user’s time zone.
- Advanced Settings: Here, you can set access hours and limit data access to specific IP Addresses (e.g., your office IP) for security.
- Choose permissions carefully. If you already have a User with permissions you would like to replicate, you can choose the agent's name in the dropdown box next to the "Copy Permissions From" box.
Avoid giving users "delete" permissions unless necessary. Additionally, certain "View Only Assigned" permissions limit users to viewing only their assigned items, such as insureds, policies, tasks, service requests, and opportunities.
5. Set up and enter any individual credentials needed for integrations.
6. If applicable, add the agent's E&O credentials.
7. When finished, click Save Changes.
