Momentum AMS – API Access & Testing Guide

Overview

Momentum AMS provides a Public API that allows developers and integration partners to connect external systems to the Momentum platform. This guide explains where to access the API documentation, how to select the correct testing environment, and how to request a dedicated testing agency.

1️⃣ API Documentation

Detailed documentation for the Momentum Public API is available in the Stoplight developer portal.

API Documentation

https://nowcerts.stoplight.io/docs/momentum-public-api---core/azpalol044lbn-core-api-s

The documentation includes information about:

  • Available API endpoints

  • Request and response formats

  • Authentication requirements

  • Example requests and responses

  • Parameter descriptions for each endpoint

This portal is the primary resource for developers building integrations with Momentum AMS.

2️⃣ Selecting the Correct Environment

When testing API requests from the documentation portal or tools such as Postman, make sure the Environment is set to:

External Partner Testing

Selecting this environment ensures that:

  • API requests are routed to the correct testing endpoints

  • Testing does not affect production data

  • Integration testing can be performed safely

3️⃣ Test Agency Configuration

The External Partner Testing environment is configured with a test agency provided by Momentum.

Key details:

  • The test environment closely mirrors production behavior

  • It allows partners to simulate real system activity

  • Data created during testing will not impact live agency records

This environment is intended for development and validation of integrations before going live.

4️⃣ Requesting a Dedicated Test Agency

If your organization prefers to test integrations using a dedicated test agency, Momentum can create one for you.

To request a dedicated test agency, send an email to the Momentum Partner Support Team:

integrations@momentumamp.com

Once the request is received, a test agency will be created and configured for your integration testing.

5️⃣ Test Website Login

Credentials for the test website environment will be provided separately.

These credentials allow you to:

  • Log in to the test environment

  • Validate data created through API calls

  • Review records generated during testing

  • Confirm that your integration behaves as expected

6️⃣ Need Help?

If you need assistance with:

  • API authentication

  • Environment configuration

  • Testing API requests

  • Integration setup

Please contact the Momentum support team for guidance.
