Using @Mentions in Notes

@Mentions in Notes
You can now @ your teammates directly within notes to instantly notify them. This makes collaboration faster and ensures important updates never get missed.

How It Works

  • Type @ followed by your teammate’s name while writing a note.

  • A dropdown list will appear with matching names — select the teammate you want to mention.

  • Once mentioned, your teammate will:

    • See a notification counter update.

    • Hear a sound cue to grab their attention.

Why It Matters

  • Keep all communication tied to the insured, policy, or task record.

  • Ensure your teammate is notified immediately without needing a separate email or message.

  • Reduce the chance of missed notes, especially during busy workflows.

Best Practices

  • Use @Mentions for:

    • Requesting help on a task.

    • Highlighting a service request update.

    • Pointing out important details in a policy or insured record.

  • Keep notes concise — the mention will alert your teammate, and they can review the context directly in Momentum AMS.

Pro Tip:
Combine @Mentions with task creation — @ a teammate in a note and then assign them the related task so nothing falls through the cracks.
