eDocs are a type of carrier download that deliver important information directly into Momentum AMS through IVANS. There are two types of eDocs:
• eDoc Dec Pages – official declaration pages sent from the carrier.
• eNotes – underwriting notes, billing alerts, and other carrier communications.
Both types are brought into Momentum AMS as IVANS XML files and must be merged before they appear in the system.
Accessing eDocs
To start using eDocs:
Request eDocs from carriers that support this feature.
Make sure your IVANS mailbox is connected to your Momentum AMS account.
Once set up, you can find eDocs under Rater Imports in the left-hand navigation menu.
Merging eDocs into Momentum AMS
Go to Rater Imports on the left menu.
Click View and Merge Changes.
From the merge screen, review the items individually or select all at once.
Click Merge Selected Items in the top right to complete the process.
This action confirms the carrier download and pushes the eDoc information into the correct client record.
Where to Find eDocs After Merging
Once merged, eDocs will appear in:
The Notes section of the client record.
Select Downloads from the note type filter to view them.
Within the clients files located in the folder eDocs.
