The Insured Reports in Momentum AMS give you detailed insights into your current client base. By segmenting insureds by location, industry, agent, and other criteria, you can quickly identify trends, spot cross-sell opportunities, and prioritize client retention efforts.
These reports help you maintain a healthy book of business by giving you visibility into who your clients are, where they’re located, and how they’re distributed across your agency.
Accessing Insured Reports
From the Interactive Reports menu, select the Insureds category.
Choose the report type that best fits your analysis needs, such as:
Insureds by Agent – Distribution of clients by producer.
Insureds by Location – Clients segmented by office or geographic location.
Insureds by Type – Personal vs. commercial insured breakdown.
Insureds by State / City / Zip Code – Geographic concentration of your book.
Insureds by Industry (SIC Code / Type of Business) – Clients segmented by their business industry.
Insureds by Create Date – New clients added within a given timeframe.
Filtering for Insights
Use filters to refine your client analysis:
Date Range – Focus on newly added clients over a specific period.
Agent – Review books of business for individual producers.
State / City / Zip Code – Identify regional patterns and market saturation.
Industry / Type of Business – Target marketing efforts by industry sector.
Tags – Filter by campaigns or classifications you’ve assigned.
? Example: Filter Insureds by Create Date for the last 90 days to review new client onboarding trends.
Sorting and Grouping
Sort by Premium to find your highest-value clients.
Group by Agent > Industry to see which producers dominate certain sectors.
Group by Location > State to review geographic expansion or concentration.
Exporting Results
Use Export to download the filtered report into Excel or PDF for further analysis or distribution.
Save frequent filter combinations as a default view for quick reference.
Best Practices
Review Insureds by Agent monthly to ensure balanced client distribution.
Combine Insureds by Industry with Policies by Line of Business to identify cross-sell opportunities.
Track Insureds by Create Date to measure new business momentum and agent productivity.
Use Insureds by Location to evaluate staffing and marketing resource allocation.
