How to Setup Google Workspace for Webmail
 Integrating your Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) email with Momentum AMS Webmail allows you to send, receive, and track all agency communications directly inside the AMS.

 This setup improves efficiency, ensures compliance, and centralizes your correspondence for better recordkeeping. 

1️⃣ Enable Momentum AMS as a Trusted App in Google Workspace

  1. Log into Google Workspace Admin

    • Go to admin.google.com and sign in using your Google Workspace administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to Security Settings

    • From the left-hand menu or your admin home screen, click Security.

  3. Open API Controls

    • Under Security, select API Controls.

  4. Manage Third-Party App Access

    • Click Manage Third-Party App Access to view and configure application permissions.

  5. Add Momentum AMS App ID

    • Click Configure new appOAuth App Name or Client ID.

    • In the search box, enter the following Momentum AMS App ID:

      65080291429-05l4mdhkgm9dacle772sq5r1r5o0aepk.apps.googleusercontent.com
  6. Trust the App

    • Select the checkbox for the Momentum AMS App and click Select.

    • Choose Trusted as the access setting.

    • Save your changes.


2️⃣ Sync Google Workspace Email with Momentum AMS Webmail

Once the Momentum AMS App is trusted in your Google Workspace, users can connect their accounts to sync email:

  1. In Momentum AMS, go to Webmail from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Follow the prompts to sign in with your Google Workspace email address.

  3. Grant permission for Momentum AMS to access your email.

  4. Once connected, emails will sync into the Webmail tab for sending, receiving, and tracking directly inside the AMS.


3️⃣ Best Practices for Integration

  • Centralize Communications – Always send client-related emails through the synced Momentum AMS Webmail so they are stored in the insured’s record automatically.

  • Maintain Security – Only trust the Momentum AMS App ID listed above; do not authorize unverified apps.

  • Train Your Team – Ensure all staff understand how to send and receive emails from the AMS once connected.

  • Monitor Sync Health – Periodically verify that new emails are appearing in the Webmail tab to confirm the connection is active.
