Certificate Description Templates in Momentum AMS help standardize the Description of Operations section on Certificates of Insurance (COIs), ensuring consistency, compliance, and time savings.
These templates are especially useful when:
• Multiple insureds need similar certificate language
• Additional Insured or Waiver of Subrogation wording is required
• Specific contract wording must appear on the certificate
• Your agency frequently issues COIs to similar holder types (e.g., landlords, general contractors, lenders)
✅ When Description Templates Are Used
Templates can be used in the following certificate workflows:
Send Certificate (for certificate holders)
Send Certificate from Additional Interests
Master Certificate setup
Renewals with repeated wording requirements

Avoid using vague or blanket wording (e.g., “all required coverages apply”) unless approved
