What is Momentum University?

Momentum University is a structured, online learning program designed for:

  • ✅ Workflow training (video, step-by-step, assignments)

  • ✅ Quizzes and badges

  • ✅ On-demand access for refresher learning

Completion of the required modules is mandatory before scheduling one-on-one onboarding or requesting advanced support.

Which Courses Should You Take?

Momentum University offers two training tracks based on your role:


Momentum AMS Training Path for CSRs & Non-Admin Users

If you’re a Client Service Representative (CSR), your training journey follows 9 core courses designed to build confidence and mastery in Momentum AMS:

  1. Momentum AMS Basics

  2. Navigation & Icons

  3. Adding Insureds & Policies

  4. Certificates of Insurance

  5. Service Requests

  6. Tasks & Categories

  7. Billing Types & Invoicing

  8. Notes, Documents, and Communication

  9. Reporting and Renewal Center

These modules provide the foundation every CSR needs to handle daily workflows efficiently, support clients effectively, and stay consistent with agency processes.

Make sure you’re working through these courses step by step — they’re structured to build on each other.


Momentum AMS Training Path for Agency Administrators

If you’re an Agency Administrator, your training includes both paths — you’ll complete all 9 CSR courses plus 3 advanced modules that cover agency-level setup and financial management:

  1. Agency Setup & Customization

  2. Carrier Downloads (IVANS, AL3, TeamUp)

  3. Commission Tracking & Reconciliation

That means Administrators complete a total of 12 courses: the full CSR track plus the Admin-specific modules.

This ensures admins can configure Momentum AMS correctly, manage data integrity, and oversee reconciliation with full visibility into the agency’s operations.


What to Expect in Each Course

Each course includes:

  • A short video (5–15 minutes)

  • Written step-by-step instructions

  • An assignment to complete in your AMS

You can retake quizzes at any time and move at your own pace.


What Happens After You Complete Training?

Once you finish all your assigned courses:

  • Your agency is marked as “Training Complete”

  • You’ll be eligible to schedule onboarding sessions (if included)

  • You’ll be approved for continued live support and advanced features

All users must complete training before requesting one-on-one support or onboarding unless previously waived by your onboarding team.


Time Commitment

  • CSR Track: ~2 - 2.5 hours 

  • Admin Track: ~2.5 - 3 hours

  • ⏳ Self-paced — stop and resume anytime
