Contacts are the foundation of your CRM. In Momentum CRM, every lead, customer, and business relationship begins with a contact record. By adding contacts, your agency can track conversations, manage activity history, and personalize outreach—all from one centralized place.
Step 1: Navigate to the Contacts Section
From the Momentum CRM dashboard, go to the Contacts section.
Step 2: Manually Adding a Contact
Click the plus (+) icon in the top toolbar.
Enter the contact details:
Name
Email
Phone number
To upload a logo, click Change.
To add multiple emails or phone numbers, click Add Email or Add Phone Number.
Step 3: Assigning Contact Type
Choose whether the contact is a Lead or a Customer.
Scroll down and click Save.
You’ll be redirected to the Contact Card, where you’ll see:
Left: Contact details
Center: Conversations
Right: Activity history
Step 4: Adding Additional Information
On the left panel, click General Info.
Enter additional details such as:
Business Name
Street Address
Website
For extra fields, click Additional Info.
Step 5: Creating Custom Fields
If you need more data points:
Navigate to Settings → Custom Fields.
Click Add Field in the top right.
Choose a field type:
Text Input
Dropdown Options
Example: To track a contact’s favorite color:
Choose Text Input – Single Line
Name it Favorite Color
Assign it to General Info or Additional Info
Click Save
Step 6: Filling Out Custom Fields
Return to the contact screen.
Locate the new custom field.
Enter the relevant data.
Click Save.
Step 7: Returning to the Contact Card
From your contact list, select the contact’s name.
Review or update details from the Contact Card.
