Momentum AMS allows you to create quote applications and send them directly to integrated comparative raters for faster and more accurate quoting. Currently, Momentum AMS integrates with TurboRater and SEMCAT, with additional integrations (such as QuoteRush and FSC) coming soon.
This feature streamlines the quoting process by allowing you to:
• Prepare an application directly in Momentum AMS
• Push it to your comparative rater account
• Use renewal data from existing policies to save time
• Export applications to XML for use in other rating systems
Note: You must have an active account with your comparative rater to use this feature.
Step 1 – Open Quote Applications
From the Prospect/Lead Details page, go to:
Quotes → Quote Applications.
Step 2 – Create a New Application
Click Add New Application.
Fill in the required application details.
Pro Tip: If you’re quoting a renewal, you can create an Auto Application from an existing policy to save time.
This option appears at the bottom of the Add New dropdown.
Step 3 – Submit to Your Comparative Rater
Once the application is complete and saved, click:
Actions → Process Data.Choose the method to send your application to your rater.
If your rater is integrated with Momentum AMS, you can send it directly.
To send to a non-integrated rater, choose Export to XML and import the file into your rater.
Log into your comparative rater and verify that the application appears, ready to submit to carriers.
Best Practices
Check Data Before Sending: Ensure all required fields are completed to prevent rework in your rater.
Use Renewal Shortcut: When quoting renewals, build from existing policy data to reduce errors.
Confirm Rater Integration Settings: Make sure your rater integration in Momentum AMS is active and linked to your account.
Keep XML for Records: If exporting, save a copy of the XML file in the insured’s documents for audit purposes.
