PDF Form Mapping Tool: Mapping Vehicles and Drivers

Nowcerts uses an index to map items that have more than one object, such as vehicles and drivers.

Here are the steps for mapping trucks: Say we want to map the VIN.

1. Click on the form field where you want the VIN to go

2. From the drop-down menu, select "Vehicle." The system will display something like this:

Vehicle [ ]. The [ ] is where the index goes.

3. So, for the first vehicle, enter "0"

4. Then, from the next drop-down menu, select the item you want mapped, such as the VIN

5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the next item, but this time increment the index to "1", then "2", ... etc.
