How to Use the Voice Transcription Feature for Notes in Momentum AMS

Momentum AMS now allows you to add detailed notes without any typing! With our new voice transcription feature, you can quickly and easily speak your notes while staying focused on your work. Here's how to use it:

Step 1: Navigate to the Insured's Profile

  • Log into Momentum AMS.

  • Search for and open the insured’s profile where you want to add a note.

Step 2: Scroll to the Bottom of the Details Page

  • Once inside the insured's profile, scroll down to the "Notes" section near the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Click “Add New” Next to Notes

  • In the Notes section, click the "Add New" button.

Step 4: Click the Microphone Icon

  • A window will open to create your new note.

  • Look for the microphone icon and click on it.

Step 5: Allow Microphone Access (First Time Only)

  • If this is your first time using the microphone feature, your browser or computer may ask you to allow microphone access.

  • Click Allow when prompted.

Step 6: Speak Your Note

  • Start speaking clearly into your microphone.

  • Your spoken words will automatically be transcribed into the note field.

Step 7: (Optional) Associate the Note

  • Before saving, you can link the note to a task or a claim if needed.

  • Simply select the appropriate task or claim from the dropdown options.

Step 8: Save the Note

  • Once you're happy with the transcription, click Save to record the note in the insured’s file.


Quick Tips:

  • Speak clearly for the best transcription accuracy.

  • Review your transcribed note before saving to catch any small errors.

  • You can still edit your note manually if needed after speaking.
