How to Use the Momentum CRM Dialer?

The Momentum CRM Dialer is a powerful tool that allows you to quickly and efficiently call through your lead lists, automate follow-ups, and document your interactions. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Upload Your Lead List (if needed)

If your leads are not already in Momentum CRM, you can easily import a CSV file containing your lead information. Navigate to the import option on your server and upload the file. When naming the list (such as "April 2025 Prospect List"), remember that the name is for internal bookkeeping only and does not impact dialer functionality.

Step 2: Access the Manual Actions Dialer

From the left-hand navigation menu, click "Conversations."
Then select "Actions" and choose "Manual Actions."
You will now see your list of leads displayed and ready for dialing.

Step 3: Start the Dialer

Click "Let’s Start" in the top right corner.
The system will automatically begin calling the first lead on your list.

Step 4: Manage Call Outcomes

After each call attempt, four options will appear allowing you to select the appropriate call result.
Depending on the option you choose (such as "No Answer"), a custom workflow may automatically trigger.
For example, selecting "No Answer" can send an automated SMS text message to the lead.

Step 5: Review Automated Messages

If a text message is triggered, you can view the message details in the system.
Ensure your account is A2P-verified for successful text message delivery. Non-verified accounts may show messages as failed.

Step 6: Control the Dialer Pace

If you need more time after a call to document details, click "Pause" in the top right corner.
Pausing prevents the system from automatically dialing the next lead, giving you time to:

  • Add notes about the conversation,

  • Create follow-up tasks,

  • Schedule appointments if needed.

Step 7: Skip to the Next Lead

If you want to move past the current lead without completing any actions, click "Next Lead" in the top right corner.
This will immediately start dialing the next person in your lead queue.

Step 8: Add Notes and Tasks

After each call, you have the option to:

  • Add a note documenting the conversation,

  • Create a task for agents or CSRs,

  • Schedule a follow-up appointment if necessary.

These steps help maintain strong follow-up practices and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
