How to Use the MGA List in Momentum AMS

The MGA List in Momentum AMS functions similarly to the Carrier List, allowing agencies to manage their relationships with Managing General Agents (MGAs).

Step 1: Accessing the MGA List

Log into Momentum AMS, navigate to Contacts in the left-side navigation, and select MGAs. This will open the MGA List, where agencies can view and manage their MGA relationships. To add a new MGA, click + Add New at the top of the page.


Step 2: Searching and Filtering MGAs

The search bar and filters allow users to refine their list based on MGA name, status, Lines of Business, and tags. These filters help agencies quickly locate specific MGAs and ensure their database remains well-organized.


Step 3: Customizing the MGA List View

Users can configure which columns are displayed in the MGA List and arrange them in a way that best suits their workflow. Clicking the Configurator Icon allows users to adjust the visibility and order of columns, ensuring the most relevant information is easily accessible.


Step 4: Making Bulk Updates with Batch Actions

By enabling Batch Actions Mode, users can apply bulk updates to multiple MGAs at once, including assigning tags, updating statuses, and updating states.


Step 5: Exporting MGA Data for Reports

The Export Icon allows users to generate CSV or Excel reports, making it easy to analyze MGA relationships and track key data points.
