Momentum AMS supports outbound faxing directly from within the system using your agency’s fax provider. Faxing is configured at the Agency Configuration level and allows users to send faxes via email—without leaving the AMS interface. Incoming faxes are not supported within Momentum AMS. This configuration enables outbound fax only.
When to Use Fax Integration
Fax integration is useful for agencies that need to:
Send ACORD forms or policy documents directly from Momentum AMS.
Communicate with carriers, MGAs, or finance companies that still require fax-based documentation.
Maintain a record of sent faxes in the insured’s Documents tab for compliance tracking.
Faxing Method: Fax Thru Email
Momentum AMS uses the Fax Thru Email feature, which sends your document as an email to your provider’s fax domain.
The provider then converts and delivers it as a fax to the recipient’s number.
Example Format:[faxnumber]@[providerdomain]
Example: 18005551234@send.lightspeedvoice.com
Supported Providers
Momentum AMS supports most major fax providers that offer email-to-fax functionality, including:
RingCentral – domain:
rcfax.comLightspeed Voice – domain:
send.lightspeedvoice.comeFax – domain varies (check your eFax account for the assigned domain)
Others as long as they can send via email
⚠️ You must already have an active account with your fax provider before configuring it in Momentum AMS.

Go to Agency Profile → Configure.

Momentum AMS will validate and store your fax settings for all users in the agency.
Once saved, your users can send faxes directly from the Documents area by selecting “Send Fax” as the delivery method.
How Sending Works
When a user selects “Send Fax” from a document:
The system uses your Assigned Email to send an email-to-fax message.
The document is attached and sent to
[faxnumber]@[providerdomain].The provider delivers the fax to the recipient’s machine.
The fax activity is logged in the insured’s Activity History in Communications.
Important Notes
Outbound only: Momentum AMS currently supports sending faxes, not receiving them.
Provider account required: Ensure your fax account supports email-to-fax functionality and has adequate credits or plan coverage.
Formatting: Always include the full 10-digit fax number (with country code if required) before the “@” symbol.
Testing: After setup, send a test fax to confirm the provider is processing messages correctly.

| Field | Example Entry |
|---|---|
