When it comes to entering new business, efficiency matters. QuoteLinq in Momentum AMS provides a faster way to gather information, start quotes, and create prospects—all from a single workflow.
Instead of manually entering details and switching between screens, QuoteLinq helps you streamline the process for both personal and commercial lines.
What Is QuoteLinq?
QuoteLinq is a built-in tool inside Momentum AMS that allows agents and CSRs to:
Gather detailed data for personal or commercial lines in one place.
Automatically create prospects in Momentum AMS without duplicate entry.
Send the form directly to insureds, letting them complete it on their own time.
This means less phone tag, fewer errors, and faster data collection.
Why Use QuoteLinq?
✅ Skip manual entry: Enter details once or let the insured fill it out.
✅ Automated prospect creation: Completed forms automatically generate a populated prospect record.
✅ Flexible quoting: Works with or without the Momentum Rater.
✅ Personal & commercial ready: Supports both business and individual submissions.
How to Access QuoteLinq
Log into Momentum AMS.
From the left-hand navigation, go to:
Momentum AMP → Momentum CL RatingIn the new window, click QuoteLinq.
Starting a New Submission
In most cases, your agency will already have a predefined QuoteLinq for each line of business. If one exists, simply use the Copy Link to Clipboard option (covered in the Filling Out or Sharing the Form section) instead of creating a new one.
You only need to create a new QuoteLinq if there isn’t already one for the line of business you need. This can be done in two ways:
Click the QuoteLinq tab and select either Commercial or Personal.
Or, click Add on the right-hand side of the QuoteLinq dashboard.
Once you’ve started a new submission:
Select New Prospect as the submission type.
Enter the insured’s known details (name, email, phone, etc.).
Choose either Personal Lines or Commercial Lines
Filling Out or Sharing the Form
You’ll be prompted for quote details such as:
Homeowners: Property address, coverage limits.
Auto: Driver details, vehicle information.
Commercial: Business name, operations, property data.
The great feature of QuoteLinq is flexibility—you can:
Complete the form yourself using the information you already have.
Or, click Copy Link to Clipboard next to the application and:
Email it directly to your prospect or insured.
Post it on your agency’s website as a self-service intake form.
Use it internally to collect walk-in or phone details.
What Happens Next?
Once the application is submitted—either by you or the insured—you have two options for next steps:
Create a Prospect: Click Send to AMS to automatically generate a Prospect Profile inside Momentum AMS. This profile will already include:
Contact details
Quote data
Assigned line of business
Proceed with Quoting: If your agency is connected to Momentum Rate, you can continue directly into quoting with your available carriers.
If your agency doesn’t have connected providers, Momentum also offers access to a wholesale network. Ask your sales representative for details on how to join.
Additionally, when the application is submitted:
Pre-filled ACORD forms become available for download.
The system ensures no double entry—all data flows directly into AMS.
From here, you’re ready to attach documents, follow up, or launch a policy workflow.
Pro Tip
Use QuoteLinq even without the Momentum Rater.
It works as a powerful intake form that integrates directly into your AMS. Whether you quote in EZLynx, carrier portals, or manually, QuoteLinq keeps your data organized and ready for action.
Final Thoughts
QuoteLinq is more than just a form—it’s a prospecting tool that simplifies data collection, reduces administrative work, and helps you keep your pipeline moving.
If your agency is looking for a smarter way to manage new business, QuoteLinq is the tool to get you there.
