Getting Started with the Momentum AMS Gmail™ Add-on

Streamline your agency workflow by connecting Gmail™ directly to Momentum AMS.

The Momentum AMS add-on eliminates manual data entry for insurance agents and CSRs. It uses AI to bridge the gap between your inbox and your Agency Management System, ensuring every client interaction is logged accurately.

Key Features

Smart Sender Matching: When you open an email, the add-on automatically searches for the Insured or Prospect in your database. If no match is found, you can add them as a new insured instantly.
AI Assistant & Notifications: The dedicated AI tab scans your mailbox to detect critical business events—such as certificate requests or quote inquiries. It triggers notifications in both Gmail™ and your AMS dashboard so you never miss an opportunity.
Auto-Task Creation: Turn emails into action. Configure the AI to automatically create tasks based on email context (for example, "New COI Request"), or use the summary screen to generate tasks with a single click.
Comprehensive Logging: Save entire email threads, file attachments, and internal notes directly to the client's record without leaving Gmail™.

Installation Steps

Open your Gmail inbox where you intend to install the add-on.
On the right side panel, click on the + icon to Get Add-ons.
Tip: If you don't see the right panel, you can reveal it by clicking the < icon on the bottom right of your screen.
When the Google Workspace Marketplace window pops up, search for Momentum AMS.
In the search results, click Install under the Momentum AMS Add-on.
This will prompt a series of windows asking you to grant permissions. Follow the prompts and ensure that all permissions are granted.
After all permissions are granted, you will see a success message. ?
