How to Filter and Search Tasks in Momentum AMS
  When you’re managing dozens — or even hundreds — of tasks, having the ability to quickly filter and find the right ones is essential. Momentum AMS offers a robust filtering system on the Tasks page that allows you to narrow down by everything from assigned user and status to tags and work groups.

  This article walks you through how to use each filter field effectively. 


Where to Filter Tasks

  • Navigate to Left Navigation → Tasks

  • The task list view includes all standard filters and keyword search

  • You can combine multiple filters to refine your view


Available Filters and What They Do

TitleSearch tasks by exact title or keywords
DescriptionSearch task descriptions for specific terms
PriorityFilter by task urgency (Normal, High, Rush)
Due DateSet an interval (e.g., today, next 7 days, overdue)
Create DateFilter by when the task was created
Last Change DateFilter by when the task was last updated
StatusSelect from task status types (Not Started, In Progress, Completed, etc.)
InsuredFilter tasks linked to specific insured(s)
Insured AgentShow tasks where a specific agent is assigned to the insured
Insured CSRShow tasks where a specific CSR is assigned to the insured
PolicyFilter by the policy associated with the task
Assigned ToFilter tasks by the person or team they’re assigned to
CreatorSee tasks created by a specific user
CategoryFilter by task category (typically linked to LOB or workflow type)
Stage StatusView tasks in a specific stage of a workflow
LocationFilter by agency branch or location (if multi-office)
Work GroupFilter by department or user-defined work group
SupervisorShow tasks managed by a particular supervisor
TagFilter tasks by custom tags you've applied (e.g., "Renewal Q4", "Audit")

How to Use Filters

  1. Go to Tasks

  2. Use the dropdowns and date selectors to choose filters

  3. Click Apply Filters (or the filter icon if collapsed)

  4. Refine further with keyword search in Title or Description

You can reset filters at any time to return to the full task list.

  • Filter by Creator to train or audit staff usage habits
