When you’re managing dozens — or even hundreds — of tasks, having the ability to quickly filter and find the right ones is essential. Momentum AMS offers a robust filtering system on the Tasks page that allows you to narrow down by everything from assigned user and status to tags and work groups.
This article walks you through how to use each filter field effectively.
Where to Filter Tasks
Navigate to Left Navigation → Tasks
The task list view includes all standard filters and keyword search
You can combine multiple filters to refine your view
Available Filters and What They Do

| Description | Search task descriptions for specific terms |
| Priority | Filter by task urgency (Normal, High, Rush) |
| Due Date | Set an interval (e.g., today, next 7 days, overdue) |

| Policy | Filter by the policy associated with the task |
| Assigned To | Filter tasks by the person or team they’re assigned to |
| Creator | See tasks created by a specific user |
| Category | Filter by task category (typically linked to LOB or workflow type) |
| Stage Status | View tasks in a specific stage of a workflow |
| Location | Filter by agency branch or location (if multi-office) |
| Work Group | Filter by department or user-defined work group |

How to Use Filters
Go to Tasks
Use the dropdowns and date selectors to choose filters
Click Apply Filters (or the filter icon if collapsed)
Refine further with keyword search in Title or Description
You can reset filters at any time to return to the full task list.
